ReSound is a Danish manufacturer that belongs to the GN Group. Since being founded by Dr. Rodney Perkins in 1943, ReSound has grown tremendously and offers a wide range of products. ReSound provides a big supply of hearing aids and accessories, which are sold in more than 80 countries worldwide.
ReSound set its sights on developing very small and inconspicuous hearing aids. Thus, it is hardly apparent to outsiders that their counterpart is wearing hearing aids. ReSound's headquarter is located in Ballerup, Denmark - which is also home to a state-of-the-art technology center, where numerous scientists work daily to develop and improve hearing aid technology further.

The ReSound OMNIA
A new product from ReSound is called the ReSound OMNIA. The ReSound OMNIA is available in four different technology levels as well as in a rechargeable or battery version. However, there is no choice in the construction of the model - it's only available as a RIC (Receiver-in-Canal). In other words, the device is placed comfortably in your ear canal and fits your pinna perfectly.
In addition, the device can be purchased with an additional M&rie microphone, which creates a particularly natural sound by using the shape of your ear and the natural way of sound perception. It should also be noted that a feedback test is easily possible with this model during remote fitting.

ReSound App
ReSound has developed the Resound Smart App to provide you with a more personalized listening experience. The app allows you to perform independent adjustments to your hearing aids. For example, you can set different programs or vary the volume of your hearing. Settings can also be saved for specific locations to automatically set certain hearing options when you arrive at selected locations. The tinnitus management option is particularly noteworthy: simply choose soothing sounds to neutralize your tinnitus with the help of the app.
